I have to admit, when I received the call to take Andrew's newborn photos I was a little nervous.  He was going to be one month old the day of the session and I wasn't sure what to expect.  My concerns were totally put to rest the minute he and his mother arrived at my studio.  He was simply the best baby ever and that is saying a lot considering I had one super baby of my own (I had one grumpy one of my own as well so I know all about those...)  Andrew literally let us take pictures with no crying, no fussing, just complete fascination with the props and the lights.  It was so much fun.  Thank you to his mom and dad for inviting me into this precious time for their family and congratulations on their beautiful baby.

I love this picture.  I know Andrew's dad from my time coaching swimming and this picture is so appropriate as it looks like he either just won a race or is cheering for his teammates.  Perfect.  Go Andrew!

Alexis and I had so much fun exploring her Grandparent's farm in St. Johns, Michigan.  We found great locations everywhere including lots of  old barns, a vintage truck and a pool deck!  I lucked out again getting to photograph such a naturally beautiful young woman.  Lexi, you made my job an easy one!  Thank you!

I had so much fun with Alan during his senior portrait session.  He was up for the adventure of exploring downtown Grand Rapids with me and did an amazing job during his whole photo-shoot, willing to try whatever I asked, crazy ideas and all.  Thank you Alan for being such a good sport!
